"The hands-on experiences throughout the program were invaluable, equipping me with clarity and confidence as I step into the next chapter of teaching."

The 300 HR Diversified Training offered by Wild Nurturer exceed expectations. The instruction was excellent - clear, rigorous, and deeply supportive - and I left feeling truly prepared to work with students of all levels. Jennifer, Anne, and Alyson were enthusiastic teachers, clearly dedicated to
their own areas of expertise. I gained invaluable training in anatomy and trauma-informed yoga practices, a solid foundation in traditional asanas, and practical skills for offering modifications and confident, hands-on assists. We spent meaningful time learning how to properly prop restorative
asanas, which transformed how I see rest as a teachable skill. I especially appreciated the
program’s emphasis on one-on-one work: meeting students where they are, identifying what will benefit them most, and designing individualized plans that help them grow safely and sustainably. The teachers were incredible - knowledgeable, generous, and committed to our success. I’m graduating both grounded and inspired: ready to teach classes and private sessions now, and eager
to keep learning and deepening my skillset.
Liz started her yoga journey over a decade ago as a way to counterbalance the stress of a demanding career and the physical toll of distance running. On the mat, she discovered a place to move, and also a place to breathe, feel, and come home to herself. Inspired by Jennifer’s teaching
style, she completed her 200-hour teacher training through Wild Nurturer’s Wellness Academy in 2024 and is currently enrolled in the 300-hour Diversified YTT. As a teacher, Liz focuses on building strong foundations while creating room for curiosity and play, encouraging students to explore both
their technique and their inner experience on the mat. Diversified training has given her the tools to share the benefits of yoga across a range of body types, experience levels, and settings. From the studio to the office, and in private one-on-one sessions, Liz loves helping students connect to their
bodies, challenge themselves, and find joy in movement.

Hi, my name is Barb Contorno. I am 53 years old and completing the Wild Nurturers 300-Hour Diversified Yoga Teacher Training program. I chose this training to build on the foundation of my 200-Hour Hatha YTT and to deepen my understanding of accessible yoga modalities. These approaches resonated with me because they align with the needs of the clients I most want to serve. I have recently accepted a position with Your Recovery, where I will be teaching four classes each week. My passion is helping clients navigate challenges through mindful movement, breathwork, and recovery-centered practices. What I loved most about this training was the chance to discover the areas of yoga I feel most inspired to teach, and to clarify how I want to bring these skills into my community.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Wild Nurturers Diversified 300YTT over the past eight months. The three trainers—Jen Langsdale, Anne Ondrey, and Alyson Phelan—each brought their unique expertise, and their complementary teaching styles made the long training weekends engaging and easy to absorb.
This training helped me discover my purpose in weaving yoga into both recovery and spiritual practices. While you’ll certainly learn asanas at Wild Nurturer, the experience goes far beyond physical practice—it transforms the mind, body, and spirit in the most meaningful way.
Jen Langsdale, in particular, guided us on a journey of self-awareness with her thoughtful rhythm and energy, always pushing us to grow and do better. The hands-on experiences throughout the program were invaluable, equipping me with clarity and confidence as I step into the next chapter of teaching.

I am Registered Nurse with a Bachelors in Nursing Science from Indiana Wesleyan University, and I have a Board Certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing. I have 25+ years experience in healthcare; within multiple clinical areas both inpatient and outpatient/ambulatory care settings. My journey with yoga started around the time that I became a nurse in February of 2011. In 2021, yoga took on a whole new role in my life, becoming more than just a form of exercise. Yoga became a way of healing old wounds and strengthening my spirituality while on my journey through a 12 step recovery program. This is when I decided that I wanted to explore a more formal education in yoga and enrolled in my first yoga teacher training program. In 2023, I received my first 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with specializations in Restorative yoga, Integrative Wellness and Trauma-Informed Yoga and a 50-hour Level I Aromatherapist training through the Wild Nurturer Wellness Academy. In addition I am currently wrapping up an additional 300-hour Yoga teacher training in Diversified Yoga at the Wild Nurturer Wellness Academy, that focuses on Hatha yoga, Chair yoga and additional training in restorative yoga with emphasis on modifications to make yoga accessible for all, I am on track to graduate in September of 2025. I aspire to continue on in the near future to start a training program in advanced trauma informed yoga and Inner Wisdom, so that I can increase my abilities to help others in the recovery community with healing not only physically but also mentally, as well as spiritually.
I am grateful for Jen at the Wild Nurturer Wellness Academy, she has walked with me through some great times in my life and some very challenging ones. Her skill, knowledge and love of the practice of yoga has helped me to grow as a human, a yogi and now as a yoga teacher. The skills she has taught me has prepared me to help others in recovery and I have been given the opportunity to teach yoga classes with Your Recovery LLC at some of the local recovery centers. In addition, I will be offering classes both group and private sessions from my own private studio. Jen’s dedication to yoga and her students is why I have and will continue to get additional training at the Wild Nurturer Wellness Academy.

I wanted to take this training for self-exploration as well as begin to develop myself into a yoga teacher. My goal is to eventually teach independently in my home. What I loved most about this training is the diversity in course material not only to reach future students’ learning needs, but to vastly broaden my own knowledge as well. Jen’s commitment and passion to yoga I feel made this program stand out far beyond other programs. I felt supported in this journey and encouraged by her to be a forward thinker to share my creativity. The value of this course has been unmeasurable for me and would recommend any of Jen’s courses to anybody.

Hi! I’m Jill Korsok. I’ve been practicing yoga for 5 years and I have an affinity for the beauty and calming aspects of the mind-body-breath connection of Hatha yoga, especially restorative yoga. I have a passion for creating accessible, empowering classes for students of all levels.
The 300-hour Diversified Yoga Teacher Training program at Wild Nurturer Yoga was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. The passion and expertise of Jennifer Langsdale and Anne Ondrey truly made this journey special. Their mentorship provided me with the tools and knowledge I needed to grow both as a practitioner and as a yoga teacher. I am so grateful for the opportunity and the incredible foundation this program has given me.
I wanted to complete this diversified training to gain the skills necessary to meet students where they are when they step onto the mat, and to be able to provide them with options and support at all levels.
I loved exploring yoga asanas through a restorative and trauma-informed lens. I loved connecting anatomy to asanas and movement patterns. I also enjoyed connecting with others who share the same passion for yoga.
I’m teaching gentle and restorative yoga classes at The Heart Center in Chagrin Falls. I’m exploring becoming a certified yoga therapist with a goal of developing my own private practice where I can incorporate private client work and Reiki.
Thanks Jennifer and Anne! I had no idea where this would lead me when I first came to 200 hour class, but through your support and knowledge, I feel like I’m right where I’m supposed to be!

I began practicing yoga two decades ago, but really started taking my practice more seriously in 2024. I found this program at a turning point in my life and it has been life changing. I have grown in my yoga practice and have learned so much more about asanas, breath work, chakras, and learning to make yoga accessible to everyone. Yoga is so much more than just a physical practice. The breath work and meditation part of yoga has always drawn me in and has helped
me with stress relief and feeling connected to myself.
This 300-hour training changed me for the better and gave me the chance to grow in so many ways. This training provided me with so much knowledge and I feel well equipped to be able to start teaching and to share everything I have learned with others.

I loved my 200 hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with Jenn! It was so informative and I learned a ton. I completed another 200 hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in 2020 online during COVID and although I know that I wanted a refresher, I didn't realize that the two trainings would be so completely different (in a good way) and I am so happy

I completed another 200 hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in 2020 online during COVID and although I know that I wanted a refresher, I didn't realize that the two trainings would be so completely different (in a good way) and I am so happy that I signed up for the training. It went by so quickly and there were A LOT of hours spent on this training. I enjoyed every module and I really liked the weekends in-person, because I felt like they were so valuable. One of my favorite parts of the training were the Anatomy and Philosophy lessons. The Anatomy lessons were amazing and Anne is so great! I loved learning from Rebecca during Philosophy because we didn't dive very deep into that during my first training and Rachel presented the topics in a way that peaked my interest. I also loved her music and the chanting was great at well. Jenn is an outstanding teacher and I have learned so much from her in just under one year of knowing her. I met her that the new studio after moving back up to Ohio from Florida and was in search of a new yoga studio. Her space feels like home and her classes challenge me in the best way possible! I love her style of teaching and this yoga training was exactly what I needed at this point in my life. I am excited to begin teaching 1:1 sessions at my studio and I can't wait to see what's in store! Thank you Jenn, Rebecca, & Anne!
Hello! I am so happy you are here -- I am Kristyn Waterwash and I am a 200 hour certified Yoga Teacher. I completed my first training in 2020 that was Vinyasa style training and just completed my second training that was Hatha style. I am looking forward to teaching beginner students by offering private sessions (1:1). My sessions will focus on the introduction to yoga, posture alignment, and instruction on how to mindfully move your body.

When you do yoga teacher training with Jen, you can expect to find an excellent balance of asana training, philosophy, anatomy, and applied theory. The applied theory involves how to teach a class with intention, meaning that you learn the rhythmic quality of how to guide people through an experience. You learn that leading a class is much more than just speaking at people and calling out poses, but that there is an art to how a class should be structured. You learn how to tie in themes, how to use yogic philosophy to set a tone, and how to bring a sense of groundedness and connection to a group of strangers. She also teaches you how to make modifications and use props to ensure that your class/practice remains accessible. This was a big focus of the training: ensuring that we learned about anatomy and how to use props and make modifications as needed. This is important to me because I want to be able to responsibly guide people through a practice with the goal of them having a sense of positive body awareness, that they've learned something about themselves. That's very hard to do when you are experiencing discomfort! Props and modifications are key to keeping a practice accessible, and Jen and her fellow teachers all honor this approach. There is a special bond created with your cohort. It's a challenging program: you are being pushed in a unique way— in mind, body and spirit— so there's nothing more special than being able to connect with people who are moving through that experience with you. We are all very different people and we left training with a special place in our hearts for each other, which is a beautiful life lesson in and of itself.
I found yoga while undergoing a big life and career transition. I turned to yoga seeking some form of movement as a way to relieve stress and because my therapist told me that I needed to get out of my head and move into my body. I had no idea what she meant! haha Then I starting doing gentle and restorative yoga regularly— I felt the stress melt away and simultaneously had big waves of gratitude come about through tears. I was hooked, and remained dedicated to learning more about the connection between yoga and how it can be practiced to move from the mind into the body.

I went into Wild Nurturer's 200-hour Hatha Yoga Training program to learn more and understand more about yoga from both the physical and spiritual aspects, mainly to enhance my own yoga experience. I went into Wild Nurturer's 200-hour Hatha Yoga Training program to learn more and understand more about yoga from both the physical and spiritual aspects, mainly to enhance my own yoga experience. I didn’t really see myself having the confidence or will to want to teach yoga, but my experience through this program has changed how I feel about that, and I am now more open to the possibilities, and the desire to share the knowledge I’ve gained with others. I feel this was a very well-rounded class and we learned everything from the history of yoga, understanding the anatomy aspect and proper alignment in the asanas, how to build and sequence a class, how to TEACH a class, the Chakras and the mind/body/spiritual connection, and Yoga philosophy, as well as the practical/business side of teaching. It was very challenging at times, but I enjoyed every part of it and gained so much confidence in myself, becoming more self-aware, and having a deeper sense inner peace. I know this is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak, and there is so much more to learn. I’m excited to see more about how the knowledge I’ve gained will continue to enhance my own yogic experience, and to see where the road takes me.
I’m a 3-year retiree who decided to embark on the journey of attaining my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification, after having practiced yoga myself for 14 years (thanks to my daughter’s influence!). The spiritual connection and “community” aspect of practicing yoga helped me realize that I was a part of something much bigger and I wanted to take a deeper dive into learning more about that for my own personal enrichment. Having attained my Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Certification in 2015, I felt that becoming a Yoga teacher would allow me to share the benefits of both of these holistic and spiritual practices with others. The style of Hatha yoga that I’m bringing is Gentle, Beginner and Chair yoga, available to all levels and abilities. I hope you will join me in learning how the practice of yoga can enhance your life through gentle body movement and the connection of mind, body and soul.

Ive just completed my 200 hour Certified Yoga Training and can't wait to start teaching what I have learned. At 48 years old I got sick and tired of being sick and tired and decided to go to a yoga class. Six years later I am stronger physically and mentally than I have ever been. Let me teach you about your body through yoga....no experience necessary, we all start somewhere.

My training was great! I learned so much and have a new appreciation for yoga. The option for once a month meets was much easier for me to accommodate than spending multiple days away from my family and work to receive the certification hours.

I completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher traiing at Wild Nurturer Yoga with Jennifer Langsdale located in Concord, Ohio. I came to yoga over 15 years ago looking for the philosophical "inner" change that yoga can bring and I was not dissapointed. The inner calm the Restorative Yoga practice brought to me is beyond anything I have experienced. Practicing yoga has the potential to bring health and healing to all aspects of our human existence including physical, spiritual and mental.

Jennifer is very knowledgeable and the paperwork is very doable! Her in-person classes exceed one's expectations. Jennifer covered every aspect for a 200 hour yoga training. She did not overlook.

Comparing notes with other teachers I know, I realized Jen's program put a much larger emphasis on learning how to sequence, forcing us to think for ourselves when creating sequences, and find our own teaching voices instead of just parroting her. I am truly grateful for this instruction and believe it has prepared me well to teach.

Jennifer and her team provided a very well-rounded teacher training program, incorporating training that connected the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of the practice. The program was grounded in technique and focused on providing the fundamentals from which we could build as teachers. Jennifer challenged us students to apply our training to create effective sequences and find our own teaching voice. We learned to be well-prepared to adapt to our students and think on our feet and think for ourselves, knowing we have our training and solid foundation to support us. My own practice has deepened tremendously throughout this program and I feel well prepared and excited to continue my teaching journey.

What program(s) did you do with Jennifer?
I participated in the 2015 200 hour Hatha Yoga Training and the 2016 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Training.
What was your life like before you took your training(s)?
I participated in my first YTT with Jenn when I was 21 and just graduated college, so needless to say, life was very much all over the place! I was certainly starting to dip my toe into the ocean that is yoga.
What results have you seen in your own life and/or careers since taking Jennifer's training?
Jennifer, and the experts she brought in, really helped me learn how to turn inward, manage my emotional, physical, and spiritual bodies, and taught me so much about yogic philosophy that I didn't know! These aspects certainly informed my life on and off the mat, and while everything is always a work in progress, I definitely found that I began to live with more presence.
