This morning I received my confirmation email from the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) in regards to my Ambulatory Care RN (AMB-BC) board certification. I submitted my application for renewal with my 300hr TI (trauma informed) Restorative Yoga as part of my contract hours for continuing education and my 50hr aromatherapy contract hours for pharmacology in addition to other continuing education that I have received over the past five years. It is super exciting that the nursing community is acknowledging the importance of therapies such as Yoga in the nursing profession.

Jennifer and her team provided a very well-rounded teacher training program, incorporating training that connected the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of the practice. The program was grounded in technique and focused on providing the fundamentals from which we could build as teachers. Jennifer challenged us students to apply our training to create effective sequences and find our own teaching voice. We learned to be well-prepared to adapt to our students and think on our feet and think for ourselves, knowing we have our training and solid foundation to support us. My own practice has deepened tremendously throughout this program and I feel well prepared and excited to continue my teaching journey.

The 300 HR Diversified Training offered by Wild Nurturer exceed expectations. The instruction was excellent - clear, rigorous, and deeply supportive - and I left feeling truly prepared to work with students of all levels. Jennifer, Anne, and Alyson were enthusiastic teachers, clearly dedicated to
their own areas of expertise. I gained invaluable training in anatomy and trauma-informed yoga practices, a solid foundation in traditional asanas, and practical skills for offering modifications and confident, hands-on assists. We spent meaningful time learning how to properly prop restorative
asanas, which transformed how I see rest as a teachable skill. I especially appreciated the
program’s emphasis on one-on-one work: meeting students where they are, identifying what will benefit them most, and designing individualized plans that help them grow safely and sustainably. The teachers were incredible - knowledgeable, generous, and committed to our success. I’m graduating both grounded and inspired: ready to teach classes and private sessions now, and eager
to keep learning and deepening my skillset.
Liz started her yoga journey over a decade ago as a way to counterbalance the stress of a demanding career and the physical toll of distance running. On the mat, she discovered a place to move, and also a place to breathe, feel, and come home to herself. Inspired by Jennifer’s teaching
style, she completed her 200-hour teacher training through Wild Nurturer’s Wellness Academy in 2024 and is currently enrolled in the 300-hour Diversified YTT. As a teacher, Liz focuses on building strong foundations while creating room for curiosity and play, encouraging students to explore both
their technique and their inner experience on the mat. Diversified training has given her the tools to share the benefits of yoga across a range of body types, experience levels, and settings. From the studio to the office, and in private one-on-one sessions, Liz loves helping students connect to their
bodies, challenge themselves, and find joy in movement.

Hi, my name is Barb Contorno. I am 53 years old and completing the Wild Nurturers 300-Hour Diversified Yoga Teacher Training program. I chose this training to build on the foundation of my 200-Hour Hatha YTT and to deepen my understanding of accessible yoga modalities. These approaches resonated with me because they align with the needs of the clients I most want to serve. I have recently accepted a position with Your Recovery, where I will be teaching four classes each week. My passion is helping clients navigate challenges through mindful movement, breathwork, and recovery-centered practices. What I loved most about this training was the chance to discover the areas of yoga I feel most inspired to teach, and to clarify how I want to bring these skills into my community.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Wild Nurturers Diversified 300YTT over the past eight months. The three trainers—Jen Langsdale, Anne Ondrey, and Alyson Phelan—each brought their unique expertise, and their complementary teaching styles made the long training weekends engaging and easy to absorb.
This training helped me discover my purpose in weaving yoga into both recovery and spiritual practices. While you’ll certainly learn asanas at Wild Nurturer, the experience goes far beyond physical practice—it transforms the mind, body, and spirit in the most meaningful way.
Jen Langsdale, in particular, guided us on a journey of self-awareness with her thoughtful rhythm and energy, always pushing us to grow and do better. The hands-on experiences throughout the program were invaluable, equipping me with clarity and confidence as I step into the next chapter of teaching.

Hi! I’m Jill Korsok. I’ve been practicing yoga for 5 years and I have an affinity for the beauty and calming aspects of the mind-body-breath connection of Hatha yoga, especially restorative yoga. I have a passion for creating accessible, empowering classes for students of all levels.
The 300-hour Diversified Yoga Teacher Training program at Wild Nurturer Yoga was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. The passion and expertise of Jennifer Langsdale and Anne Ondrey truly made this journey special. Their mentorship provided me with the tools and knowledge I needed to grow both as a practitioner and as a yoga teacher. I am so grateful for the opportunity and the incredible foundation this program has given me.
I wanted to complete this diversified training to gain the skills necessary to meet students where they are when they step onto the mat, and to be able to provide them with options and support at all levels.
I loved exploring yoga asanas through a restorative and trauma-informed lens. I loved connecting anatomy to asanas and movement patterns. I also enjoyed connecting with others who share the same passion for yoga.
I’m teaching gentle and restorative yoga classes at The Heart Center in Chagrin Falls. I’m exploring becoming a certified yoga therapist with a goal of developing my own private practice where I can incorporate private client work and Reiki.
Thanks Jennifer and Anne! I had no idea where this would lead me when I first came to 200 hour class, but through your support and knowledge, I feel like I’m right where I’m supposed to be!

I began practicing yoga two decades ago, but really started taking my practice more seriously in 2024. I found this program at a turning point in my life and it has been life changing. I have grown in my yoga practice and have learned so much more about asanas, breath work, chakras, and learning to make yoga accessible to everyone. Yoga is so much more than just a physical practice. The breath work and meditation part of yoga has always drawn me in and has helped
me with stress relief and feeling connected to myself.
This 300-hour training changed me for the better and gave me the chance to grow in so many ways. This training provided me with so much knowledge and I feel well equipped to be able to start teaching and to share everything I have learned with others.

I am Registered Nurse with a Bachelors in Nursing Science from Indiana Wesleyan University, and I have a Board Certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing. I have 25+ years experience in healthcare; within multiple clinical areas both inpatient and outpatient/ambulatory care settings. My journey with yoga started around the time that I became a nurse in February of 2011. In 2021, yoga took on a whole new role in my life, becoming more than just a form of exercise. Yoga became a way of healing old wounds and strengthening my spirituality while on my journey through a 12 step recovery program. This is when I decided that I wanted to explore a more formal education in yoga and enrolled in my first yoga teacher training program. In 2023, I received my first 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with specializations in Restorative yoga, Integrative Wellness and Trauma-Informed Yoga and a 50-hour Level I Aromatherapist training through the Wild Nurturer Wellness Academy. In addition I am currently wrapping up an additional 300-hour Yoga teacher training in Diversified Yoga at the Wild Nurturer Wellness Academy, that focuses on Hatha yoga, Chair yoga and additional training in restorative yoga with emphasis on modifications to make yoga accessible for all, I am on track to graduate in September of 2025. I aspire to continue on in the near future to start a training program in advanced trauma informed yoga and Inner Wisdom, so that I can increase my abilities to help others in the recovery community with healing not only physically but also mentally, as well as spiritually.
I am grateful for Jen at the Wild Nurturer Wellness Academy, she has walked with me through some great times in my life and some very challenging ones. Her skill, knowledge and love of the practice of yoga has helped me to grow as a human, a yogi and now as a yoga teacher. The skills she has taught me has prepared me to help others in recovery and I have been given the opportunity to teach yoga classes with Your Recovery LLC at some of the local recovery centers. In addition, I will be offering classes both group and private sessions from my own private studio. Jen’s dedication to yoga and her students is why I have and will continue to get additional training at the Wild Nurturer Wellness Academy.

I wanted to take this training for self-exploration as well as begin to develop myself into a yoga teacher. My goal is to eventually teach independently in my home. What I loved most about this training is the diversity in course material not only to reach future students’ learning needs, but to vastly broaden my own knowledge as well. Jen’s commitment and passion to yoga I feel made this program stand out far beyond other programs. I felt supported in this journey and encouraged by her to be a forward thinker to share my creativity. The value of this course has been unmeasurable for me and would recommend any of Jen’s courses to anybody.
