The Full Moon in October is referred to as the Blood Moon, which marks a time of turning within. The harvest season has come to a close, now is a time of rest and reflection. This will be a journey to aid with transition and restoring balance within the dark part of the year. Dress comfortably, we will be seated and lying down for this journey as you explore aromatherapy themed for your guided relaxation with visualization for the full moon.
Class includes a short introduction to the spiritual use of aromatherapy, guided visualization & moon meditation.

Come as you are and let us immerse you into the beauty of winter in nature in the beautiful Thayer Building in Holden Arboretum. Explore the grounds with an ecotherapy hike, experience morning & afternoon yoga sessions, and queit time through an aromatherapy sensory journey, simple make & take items and of course a long relaxation. Warm up by the fire with hot chai tea or hot choclate.

We will explore soothing stretches, joint rotations, invigorating breathing practices to help reduce stress & tension in the body and increase the quality of your life. The purpose of the class is to balance your mind and bring harmony to your being through movement, breath awareness, and relaxation.
Classes will be geared towards mental & physical health and support.
What to Bring: Yoga Mat, Water if desired Props are provided at the studio or provide your own if you like. Classes meet at Purple Lotus Yoga Studio.

Postures will focus on releasing the upper back and shoulders, hip & hamstring releasing, lower back support, and subtle inversions for the lymphatic support.

Pregnancy is one of the most fullest time in a woman's life, it can be blissful, fearful, exhausting & exhilarating all at the same time. Having tools on how to care for yourself or your clients can be essential to having a supportive and enjoyable pregnancy. This workshop will take a deep dive into:
• The basics of safe prenatal yoga
• Modifications for yoga practice for pregnancy
• The evolution of the three trimesters
• Prenatal breathing & relaxation techniques for yoga, birth & after birth
• Holding space for the prenatal community
Your day will include a prenatal class to enjoy (whether you are pregnant or not) that will connect you to the source of your divine feminine, and teach you to empower and connect to your body.
There will be plenty of time for your questions and exploration of different yoga & techniques for pregnancy. Upon completion you will have a better understanding of the components to a well rounded & safe prenatal yoga practice and how it contributes to a healthy pregnancy and after birth.
You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the day. Dress comfortably, and bring a yoga mat, water & a snack for a short break.
